1000 Mile Challenge

The concept is simple, the challenge is not, you will have from 01 January 2016 to 31 December 2016 to complete 1000 running miles - gym, training and event miles are all valid.

By taking part in the challenge you will be able to track performance against fellow runners as well as the target runner (basically a virtual pacemaker). Progress tables will be updated on a weekly basis and all successful participants will earn themselves the exclusive OCR Scotland 1000 miles medal.

There will also be achievement awards emailed when key milestones of 500 miles and 750 miles are achieved.

Now there are a few rules:

* you can sign up throughout January ONLY

* each Tuesday you should submit a log of your weeks activity - template to be issued. If you miss the submission, don't worry, they can be added to the following weeks submission.

* all event distances will be taken as advertised by race organiser, although if there is a significant variance, distance will be adjusted (ie Mighty Deerstalker, Survival of the Fittest, etc)

* A MAXIMUM of 50% of your miles can be gym based.
