Neptune Steps

Hope everyone had a great Saturday. We spent ours at Red Bull's Neptune Steps.

The event saw 100+ competitors take on challenging 420 metre sprint swim through the Maryhill Locks in Glasgow. Sounds simple enough? To makes things tougher the race incorporated eight gate climbs over the canal’s lock gates through extremely cold water. Each gate presented a different test, with cargo nets, rope ladders, climbing walls and ropes to aid the ascent. The vent pushed the athletes to their limits and their were some tremendous fighting spirit showen by all involved.

Congratulations to Mark Dean who conquered the locks and took the Neptune Steps trident!
